The Smeg SPG505SUK Ecoline is a heavy-duty undercounter glasswasher engineered for high-footfall hospitality environments such as bars, pubs, and restaurants. Built with a 500mm basket, it efficiently handles up to 25 pint glasses per load across three professional wash cycles (90, 150, or 240 seconds). This commercial-grade unit is designed to provide consistent hygiene and rapid turnaround times during peak service hours while maintaining a compact footprint.
Constructed in Italy with a robust stainless steel body, the unit features a partial double-skinned insulated door to minimise heat loss and reduce operational noise. For power, the Smeg SPG505SUK glasswasher is equipped with a 6.8kW multiphase electrical system; it is supplied for 30A single-phase hardwired connection as standard but can be reconfigured by a qualified engineer to suit 13A or 20A site requirements. The unit includes a fitted drain pump along with integrated rinse aid and detergent dosing pumps to ensure consistency every cycle and a hassle-free, automated cleaning process.
Designed for ease of maintenance and long-term reliability, the Smeg SPG505SUK includes a self-cleaning cycle and removable stainless steel wash arms for straightforward daily upkeep. The HTR system ensures a constant temperature and pressure for uniform results, while the integrated rinse booster pump guarantees performance even in sites with varying water pressure (1–10 bar). This glasswasher is backed by a two-year manufacturer’s onsite parts and labour warranty, provided it is installed by a commercially qualified engineer.
