Question from Carole: Asked on 30/04/2026 How long is the power cord with plug please?
Hi Carole,The electriQ EIQCURV60ENBL cooker hood comes with a standard UK 13A plug and a fitted power lead, but the exact cable length isn’t officially specified; in practice, it’s typically around 1 to 1.5 metres long, which is usually enough to reach a nearby socket above or inside a kitchen unit. Thanks!
Question from Tim: Asked on 15/02/2026 Can I use a rectangular vent coming out of the side of the chimney? Our vent access is through a side wall, not the ceiling
Hi TIm,Yes, you can vent your electriQ 60?cm Curved Glass Cooker Hood (EIQCURV60ENBL) through a side wall instead of the ceiling. You’ll just need to use proper ducting and adapters to connect the hood’s round 150?mm outlet to a rectangular wall vent. Just keep the duct run as short and straight as possible, minimize bends, and use metal ducting rated for kitchen extractors to maintain airflow efficiency and safety. Thanks!
