The open window mode turns the fire off when it detects a sudden temperature drop, helping to save energy, and the safety cut-off feature prevents overheating. It’s easy to install too; just attach it to the wall, plug it in and switch it on.
The TUYA Wi-Fi App - To control the fire using your phone, first you’ll need a stable Wi-Fi connection then you need to download the Tuya app; this controls the Wi-Fi and smart element. It can be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can even control via your voice-controlled smart speaker (e.g. Alexa, Google) to turn it on and off, ensuring that this is enabled first. Please note the fire is not voice activated unless connected to a smart speaker.

Hi, The AmberGlo AGL061 electric fire has a control panel on the top right of the unit, so it can be operated without the remote, app, or Alexa. You can switch it on/off and adjust heat and flame settings directly from this panel.

Question from Steve: Asked on 03/11/2025 Where is the cable and plug located. I have a socket on the wall directly just above the skirting board and will be behind the fire is this suitable or do i need to get it moved
Hi Steve, the cable/plug is located at the rear of the unit. The socket must be accessible for safety and maintenance, so having it behind the fire and hidden by the skirting board may not be ideal. Please consider moving the socket or ensuring it is easily reachable to disconnect the heater when needed. Thank you.

Hi Jane,Yes, mounting a TV above the AmberGlo AGL061 electric fireplace is generally safe, provided you maintain adequate clearance. Since the AGL061 directs heat downward from vents located below the top panel, the risk to a TV is reduced. To prevent heat damage, ensure a minimum of 12 to 20 inches of space between the top of the fireplace and the bottom of the TV. For added safety, monitor the wall temperature and consider a tilting TV mount to manage heat exposure.Thanks!
