Once you’re ready, just plug in and enjoy the warming ambience of this electric log burner that can be used with heat and flames, or just flames alone.The TUYA Wi-Fi App - To control the fire using your phone, first you’ll need a stable Wi-Fi connection then you need to download the Tuya app; this controls the Wi-Fi and smart element. It can be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can even control via your voice-controlled smart speaker (e.g. Alexa, Google) to turn it on and off, ensuring that this is enabled first. Please note the fire is not voice activated unless connected to a smart speaker.

Hi, The AmberGlo Electric Log Burner (AGL063) is an electric stove with a decorative glass front — the door does not open. The flames are LED effects only, so you can’t change their size, but you can adjust the brightness and colour using the remote, app, or control panel.

Question from Tom: Asked on 12/10/2025 What temperature does the bottom reach? Is it below 100C (I.e. you don’t need a constructional hearth under it for building regs)
Hi Tom, it is an electric log burner, so the base does not get hot enough to require a constructional hearth. You can place it on a standard non-combustible surface. Thank you.

Hi Grace,Yes, you can safely mount a shelf above the AmberGlo AGL063 electric stove because it is electric and directs heat downward. The main concern is long-term discoloration or warping from constant moderate heat. You must confirm the manufacturer’s minimum vertical clearance (or leave a significant gap, e.g., 100mm+) and verify that the temperature beneath the shelf remains safe during use.Thanks!
