Hi David,The AmberGlo Round Cast Iron 5kW Log Burning Multi-Fuel Stove (AGL070) is approved for use in UK smoke control (smokeless) zones, provided it is installed correctly and only burns permitted fuels, such as well-seasoned wood with less than 20% moisture. Thanks!

Question from Josephine: Asked on 20/11/2025 can smoke or fumes escape from this stove

Answer from RogelReyes: Answered on 21/11/2025

Hi Josephine, this stove is designed with a tightly sealed cast-iron door and high-quality construction to ensure efficient burning. While it maintains a small controlled airflow for safe combustion, when installed correctly with a proper flue and used as recommended, the stove is very well sealed, and the risk of smoke or fumes escaping into your home is minimal. Thank you.
