The TUYA Wi-Fi App - To control the fire using your phone, first you’ll need a stable Wi-Fi connection then you need to download the Tuya app; this controls the Wi-Fi and smart element. It can be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can even control via your voice-controlled smart speaker (e.g. Alexa, Google) to turn it on and off, ensuring that this is enabled first. Please note the fire is not voice activated unless connected to a smart speaker.

Hi Kathy, please refer to the "Recommended Accessories" section on the product's page for the available pebbles. The white pebbles tend to give a brighter, more contrasting look that highlights the flame and makes the interior feel more modern. Black pebbles offer a more subtle, dramatic, and cohesive look with darker surrounds. Both black and white pebbles look best in their own way. Thank you.

Hi Kathy, this fire is quite economical to run. It uses up to 1.8 kW of power on full heat, costing roughly 54p per hour at the average UK electricity rate. Using the flame-only setting is much cheaper, as it consumes very little energy. For best efficiency, use the built-in thermostat or timer to avoid unnecessary heating. Thank you.

Hi Martin,The AmberGlo AGL073 40-inch media wall fireplace requires strict attention to ventilation, as the base plate can warm up during use. Although specific measurements are not listed in the manual, you must allow at least 50mm of clearance on all sides to guarantee the airflow necessary for safe and optimal performance. Regular cleaning is also vital to prevent dust buildup from restricting ventilation.Thanks!

Hi,The AmberGlo AGL073 Media Wall Electric Fireplace is designed for flexible installation, supporting both wall-mounted and fully inset configurations. Its adjustable brackets can be secured to wooden battens from the front or rear, allowing it to be recessed into a media wall (ideally secured before plasterboarding) or safely mounted on a suitable wall (unit weight: 28.7 kg).Thanks!
