The TUYA Wi-Fi App - To control the fire using your phone, first you’ll need a stable Wi-Fi connection then you need to download the Tuya app; this controls the Wi-Fi and smart element. It can be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can even control via your voice-controlled smart speaker (e.g. Alexa, Google) to turn it on and off, ensuring that this is enabled first. Please note the fire is not voice activated unless connected to a smart speaker.

Hi, it is fixed to the wall using a metal bracket on the rear of the unit, which must be secured into a solid or reinforced surface behind your plasterboard. Standard wall plugs alone are not suitable for dot-and-dab or acoustic panel walls. The power flex exits from the rear of the unit, so you will need to plan the cable route to your socket or fused spur before installation. Thank you.

Hi, this electric fireplace is supplied with a BS1363 3-pin plug fitted with a 10-amp fuse. However, you can plug this into a standard 13-amp socket. Thank you.

Hi Sara, this product is designed to sit flush against the wall, and its back panel is not intended to accommodate plugs or sockets. The socket and plug must always be accessible in order to disconnect the heater from the electrical supply for maintenance and cleaning. Thank you.

Hi Rachel,Yes, you can mount a TV above the AmberGlo electric fireplace, but success depends on managing heat and height. Since the fireplace is 62 cm tall, you must ensure you leave at least 30 cm of clearance above the unit (total height of ∼92 cm to the bottom of the TV) to prevent heat damage. Be aware that this placement will likely raise the screen above the optimal eye-level, so using a tilting bracket is strongly recommended for comfortable viewing.Thanks!

Hi Vickie, this product is designed to be mounted flat to the wall. The height of the installation from the floor to underneath the unit must be a minimum of 300 mm. Failure to follow this can lead to the fire overheating. Thank you.
