The TUYA Wi-Fi App - To control the fire using your phone, first you’ll need a stable Wi-Fi connection then you need to download the Tuya app; this controls the Wi-Fi and smart element. It can be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can even control via your voice-controlled smart speaker (e.g. Alexa, Google) to turn it on and off, ensuring that this is enabled first. Please note the fire is not voice activated unless connected to a smart speaker.

Hi, The AmberGlo 3-Sided Electric Fireplace (AGL085) is designed for wall mounting only. It cannot be placed on a cabinet or furniture, as this could block airflow and cause overheating. For safe use, it must be secured to a wall or built into a media wall.

Question from Alison: Asked on 24/11/2025 Can a TV be mounted above this? If so what is the minimum clearance from the top of the fire to the bottom of the tv?
Hi, Yes, you can mount a TV above the AmberGlo Oak Media Wall fireplace, but you should leave about 20–30?cm (8–12 inches) between the top of the fire and the bottom of the TV to avoid heat damage. Make sure the TV mount doesn’t block the top vent, and if possible, check the wall temperature when the fire is on.

Hi Steve, we do not recommend placing your TV recording box directly on top of the fireplace, as the surface can get hot during use. For safety, it is best to mount your TV on the wall above the unit and keep any electronics clear of the heat. Thank you.
