The TUYA Wi-Fi App - To control the fire using your phone, first you’ll need a stable Wi-Fi connection then you need to download the Tuya app; this controls the Wi-Fi and smart element. It can be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can even control via your voice-controlled smart speaker (e.g. Alexa, Google) to turn it on and off, ensuring that this is enabled first. Please note the fire is not voice activated unless connected to a smart speaker.

Hi, Yes, the AmberGlo AGL093 can be placed on a carpeted floor, but the carpet should be cut around the base so the fireplace sits securely on the solid floor underneath. Please also ensure the top heat outlet is not obstructed.

Question from Fire unit: Asked on 12/08/2026 Is the unit suitable to stand your tv on top if you have it freestanding
Hi, The AmberGlo AGL093 is not designed to support a TV on top, and as the heat is vented from the top of the fire, we wouldn’t recommend placing a freestanding TV directly on the unit. For safety, the TV should be wall-mounted with suitable clearance.

Hi Fred,The plug for the Amberglo AGL093 fireplace is located at the back of the unit, with a cable that exits near the lower right-hand side, and it simply connects to a standard 13A wall socket, which is usually placed behind or to the side of the fire depending on how you want the installation to look.Thanks!

Hi, The fire can be installed on an Aquapanel wall only where it is fixed through into a suitable structural substrate such as timber or metal studs, or masonry. Aquapanel itself is not a load-bearing fixing surface, so the unit must not be fixed to the board alone. Suitability depends on the wall construction and correct installation.

Hi, The 60″ AmberGlo Wall-Mounted Electric Fire (AGL093) comes with decorative stones that are not fixed in place, so they can be repositioned. However, they are loose and could be a choking hazard for children. We recommend removing them or replacing them with child-safe alternatives if young children are around.

Hi, The AmberGlo AGL093 60″ wall-mounted electric fire comes supplied with black pebbles only; logs are not included. If you want logs, they must be decorative artificial logs made for electric fires — real wood or combustible materials must not be used.

Hi, The AmberGlo 60″ Wall-Mounted Electric Fire with Oak Surround (AGL093) does not have a sealed glass front — the decorative logs and fuel bed are visible and not enclosed behind glass

Hi, The AmberGlo 60-inch wall-mounted electric fire comes with a standard power cable and plug. The cable exits from the back of the unit, typically at the lower right side when installed, and can be plugged into a standard wall socket. If you prefer a hidden look, a socket can be installed behind the fire to keep the plug out of sight.
