The control panel on Arete One has simple and clearly laid out controls. The buttons that you use most often are larger; the buttons that you hardly ever use are small. Large buttons include controls for Smart Humidity Control, Night and Laundry Mode either of which can be set by pressing just one button.
The modern display shows mode, humidity levels, target humidity, and on/off timer. With easy-to-interpret visuals, there's no more navigating through buttons to check settings—everything is presented at a glance.
The Arete® Two excels in laundry drying, outperforming other Meaco dehumidifiers in speed and cost to run. With adjustable louvres to direct the airflow at the washing and an additional fan speed option 3, you can dry your washing even more efficiently.
The intelligent Meaco control logic means that you get a balance between saving mode operation and accurate dehumidification. When the target relative humidity has been reached, the dehumidifier will switch to fan only mode to check that the relative humidity is stable.

Hi, For optimal performance, place the Meaco Arete Two 25L Low Energy Laundry Smart Dehumidifier in a well-ventilated area, ideally near your laundry or drying space. Position the unit approximately 1-2 meters away from wet clothes or a drying rack to efficiently remove moisture from the air. Ensure there is at least 30 cm of space around the dehumidifier for proper airflow, and avoid placing it near walls, furniture, or obstructions. If using in a larger room, place the dehumidifier centrally to maximize its coverage. For best results, avoid placing the unit near heat sources or on carpeted floors.

Hi Anna,Yes if you place the Meaco Arete Two 25L on the landing and keep the bedroom doors open, it should effectively reduce humidity across all four bedrooms throughout the night. However, the exact performance will depend on airflow and how warm the upstairs area is.Thanks!

Hi Paul, this model can be used without the HEPA filter, using just the mesh dust filter, but note that it will dehumidify only and will not purify the air. Thank you.

Hi Timothy, the provided HEPA filter is not life-long and must be replaced when the colour changes from white to grey (it depends on the environment the dehumidifier is being used in, but the HEPA filter will need replacing roughly every 3 months).
