Hi, The difference between slotted and unslotted basin wastes depends on whether your basin has an overflow hole. A slotted waste has side openings that connect to the overflow, allowing excess water to drain safely, so it’s used only with basins that have an overflow. An unslotted waste has no side openings and is designed for basins without an overflow. Choose the type that matches your basin: slotted for overflow basins, unslotted for basins without an overflow.
