Heat Output Calculator

Our calculator helps you easily determine the heating capacity you need for your space. For larger rooms, consider using multiple radiators, opting for larger sizes, or choosing models with more panels to meet your BTU requirement.

Select your desired room

Select the correct measurement type, and input the height, width and length.

Are there any of the following in the room:

Total: 0 BTUs
Total: 0 kW

What's a BTU?

BTU (British Thermal Unit) measures how much heat a radiator can output. The higher the BTU, the more warmth it provides. To choose the right radiator, calculate the BTU needed for your room size, insulation, and window type. Too low, and your space stays chilly; too high, and you waste energy.

which valves do I need?

Which valves do I need?

Angled Radiator Valves

Angled radiator valves are typically used when the pipework comes from the floor, or from the wall directly behind the radiator. The angled design allows for a neat connection.

Corner Radiator Valves

Corner valves are often used when the pipework comes from the wall, or runs along the wall and needs to turn a corner to connect to the side of the radiator.

Straight Radiator Valves

Straight radiator valves are used when the pipework comes up from the floor directly beneath the radiator and are perfect for towel radiators where the inlets are at the bottom. They're not suitable for side-entry radiators unless the pipework runs along the wall horizontally.

H-Block Radiator Valves

H-Block radiator valves are a more compact solution, often used with modern radiators that have connections at the bottom, rather than the sides.

Pipe route/Inlet type Pipe up from floor Pipe out of wall Pipe runs along wall
Side Angled Corner (neatest) or Angled* Straight
Bottom Straight Corner
Middle twin ports Straight Angled H-block (Rare) Corner

* While you can often rotate an angled valve, corner valves can offer a cleaner look and prevent accidental bumps.

All About Me

Traditional Column Design: A classic horizontal column radiator with an authentic traditional design, adding timeless character and elegance to any bathroom.

Two-Column Construction: The two-column design delivers a traditional appearance while providing an increased heat output for a warm and comfortable space.

Compact & Space-Saving: Perfect for cloakrooms and smaller bathrooms, delivering efficient heating without taking up too much room.

Wall-Mounted Design: Designed exclusively for wall-hung installation, creating a neat, space-saving finish while complementing traditional bathroom interiors.

Durable Steel Construction: Manufactured from high-quality mild steel for long-lasting performance, excellent heat retention, and reliable everyday use.

The Nambi horizontal traditional radiator features 2-column styling, with its double-column design providing a higher heat output for greater warmth and comfort. Measuring just 600mm with a slim 70mm depth, it’s a practical choice for smaller bathrooms, cloakrooms and en-suites where space is limited. Finished in sophisticated anthracite, it delivers an impressive 2090 BTU heat output to help keep your room warm and cosy. Designed for use with a central heating system, this wall-hung traditional radiator is crafted from durable mild steel with anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties for long-lasting performance, while its smooth surface makes it easy to clean and maintain. This product does not have a fixed pipe connection measurement because the pipe centers depend entirely on how you install the valves and where you place the incoming pipework.
