Question from paul: Asked on 01/04/2026 Hi . Do I need good pressure to fit this valve. Paul
Hi, This Volta 1-Outlet Exposed Thermostatic Shower Valve does not require high water pressure to operate. It is designed to work on systems with a minimum pressure of 0.5 bar, so it is suitable for most standard domestic plumbing setups, including many low-pressure systems.
For best performance, the hot and cold water supplies should be reasonably balanced, and the system should not exceed a maximum working pressure of 3.0 bar.
Thank you.
Question from Martin: Asked on 17/03/2026 Can the inlet Hot/Cold pipes be turned 90 degrees for external to wall pipes
Hi, The BeBa_26819 (Volta exposed thermostatic shower valve) has fixed rear hot and cold inlet connections and cannot be rotated 90°, as the valve body is not designed to swivel; however, if your pipework runs externally along the wall, it can still be installed by using suitable 15mm fittings (such as 90° elbows) to redirect the pipework into the valve, provided the pipe centres and installation requirements match the manufacturer’s specification.
Thank you.
