Hi, Yes, the Hotpoint BIWMHG81485UKN washing machine can be used with a cold water supply only. The machine heats the water internally for all wash cycles, so it will work normally without a hot-water connection.
Please make sure only the cold inlet is connected and any hot inlet is left disconnected or capped. High-temperature cycles will use the machine’s internal heater, which is normal.
