Question from Anthony: Asked on 02/06/2026 Does these plug in devices need to be hardwired or can they be run off the wall socket
Hi Anthony,The electriQ Plug In Electric Single Oven and Induction Hob Pack does not need to be hardwired, as both appliances are designed to run from a standard UK plug socket and can simply be plugged into a suitable wall outlet. Thanks!
Hi, This oven and hob pack does not require hardwiring. Both appliances are designed to be plug-in models and can be connected directly to a standard UK 13A wall socket using a normal plug. No electrical installation by an electrician is required for hardwired connection.
Thank you.
Question from Moko: Asked on 19/01/2026 What is the total power consumption of the oven and hob? Wondering if I can run it on a 4kw generator.
Hi,The electriQ plug-in single oven uses about 2.5?kW and the plug-in 4-zone induction hob about 2.8?kW, giving a combined maximum power draw of roughly 5.3?kW. Since a 4?kW generator can only supply up to 4?kW continuously, it cannot safely run both appliances at full power at the same time. You could run them one at a time or at reduced settings, but trying to use both together risks overloading the generator. Thanks!
