Question from Steve: Asked on 15/02/2026 I know this cooker needs to be hard wired to the protected cooker circuit connection so does not come with a plug my question was about the cable to hardwire cooker to protected cooker circuit does this cooker come with this cable supplied of course without a plug or do you need to buy the cable separately ?
Hi Steve,The AEG 5000 Series 60cm Electric Cooker (CCX6501ACB) does not come with a plug or a hard-wiring cable. You will need to purchase a suitably rated cable separately and have a qualified electrician connect it to your dedicated, protected cooker circuit.Thanks!

Hi, The AEG 5000 Series 60?cm Electric Cooker (CCX6501ACB) does not come with a plug and cannot be plugged in directly. It must be hard-wired by a qualified electrician to a dedicated cooker circuit.

Hi, The main (lower) oven door drops down (hinged at the bottom). The top (upper) oven door opens from the side (side-hinged).
