Question from Nick Jones: Asked on 02/04/2026 Are these two items able to be stacked on top of each other?
Hi, The Hotpoint CHD93MGGUK tumble dryer isn’t supplied with any official guidance or approval for stacking in the manufacturer’s instructions. However, it can be safely stacked on top of a compatible front-loading washing machine if a suitable stacking kit is used. The kit secures the dryer in place and ensures stability during use. If you choose to stack, we recommend using a proper stacking kit and checking that both appliances are compatible and installed level for safety.
Thank you.
Question from Maria: Asked on 01/01/2026 What is the energy rating please and is the reverse drum action on all programmes.
Hi Maria,The Hotpoint CHD93MGGUK 9?kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer has an A++ energy rating, making it highly energy-efficient and cost-effective to run. It also features reverse drum action, which helps reduce tangling and creasing by rotating the drum in both directions during drying. While the reverse action is built into the drying process rather than being selectable for each individual programme, it works across all cycles to improve drying results. Thanks!
Question from Mysale: Asked on 09/11/2025 Is it direct drive
HI,The Hotpoint CHD93MGGUK Freestanding Heat Pump Tumble Dryer does not feature direct drive technology; instead, it uses a conventional motor to power the drum. Thanks!
Question from Saf: Asked on 22/10/2025 Is this a condenser tumble dryer?
I just need to take out the tank filled with water only
Hi, The Hotpoint 9kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer (CHD93MGGUK) is a heat pump dryer, not a conventional condenser dryer. It works by recycling hot air and condensing the moisture from your clothes into water, which is collected in a tank. You will need to regularly empty this water tank after each use, just as you would with a condenser dryer. However, the heat pump system is more energy-efficient, using lower temperatures to dry your clothes.
Thank you.
