If you intend to run the flex behind cabinetry, you must ensure the cable is not stretched or under tension and that the socket remains easily accessible for safety and maintenance. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified electrician if the cord is too short or if you desire a permanent solution like a fused connection unit (FCU), as modifying the microwave's connection yourself could void the warranty and violate safety regulations.Thanks!
