Question from Jim: Asked on 22/04/2026 How many screws are needed to fix it to the wall?
Hi, For the Bosch Series 2 60cm Pyramid Chimney Cooker Hood (DWP64BC50B), the official installation uses a wall-mounted bracket secured with 2 main screws and wall plugs to support the weight of the unit. Once the hood is hung on the bracket, 1 additional safety screw is used to lock it in place and prevent movement. Depending on the chimney cover configuration, 1 to 2 extra small screws may also be used to secure the flue cover. In total, the installation typically requires 3 to 5 screws, with the main load carried by the 2 bracket fixing screws.
Thank you.
