electriQ 30cm Induction Hob with Flex Zone
This compatc two-zone induction hob features an unbranded design that seamlessly coordinates with your existing appliances. Installation is incredibly straightforward, as it comes with a 1.25m cable and a plug already attached, meaning no electrician is required. The smooth, touch-controlled surface offers nine distinct power levels for precise cooking, utilizing induction technology to heat the pan directly rather than the surface, ensuring no energy is wasted. For maximum flexibility, the hob includes a handy power booster mode for an extra burst of heat when you are in a hurry, along with a flex zone feature that allows you to bridge the two zones together to accommodate larger pots and pans.
Beyond its cooking capabilities, this hob is packed with smart, family-friendly safety features, including a built-in child lock, pan sensors, and residual heat indicators that clearly warn you when the glass is still hot. To help you avoid overcooking your meals, the 99-minute timer function allows you to set precise cooking durations and will automatically switch off the heat when the time is reached. It also provides extra peace of mind with an auto-shutoff function that automatically turns the unit off if left unattended for extended periods.

Question from cat: Asked on 06/05/2026 Can this be wired into mains
Hi, The electriQ 30cm Induction Hob with Flex Zone (eIQ30INDF) is a 13A appliance supplied with a fitted plug, so it can be connected to a standard UK socket and does not require hardwiring. While it can be wired via a fused spur by an electrician if preferred, this is not necessary and offers no performance benefit; an electrician is only needed if no suitable socket is available or a fixed connection is required.
Thank you.
Question from Julie: Asked on 06/03/2026 Is this hob freestanding
Hi, The ElectriQ 30cm Induction Hob with Flex Zone (model eIQ30INDF) is not freestanding. It is a built-in hob designed to be installed into a kitchen worktop and cannot be used as a standalone appliance.
Thank you.
Question from Jane: Asked on 27/02/2026 does this have a guarantee
Hi, Yes this comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
Thank you.
Question from Sharron: Asked on 05/01/2026 What is the safety zone dimensions for this item?
Hi Sharron,The electriQ 30cm Induction Hob with Flex Zone (eIQ30INDF) does not have specific safety-zone dimensions stated by the manufacturer, but it requires a worktop cut-out of 490 × 270 mm, an overall hob size of about 520 × 290 mm, and it should be installed with typical induction-hob clearances, such as around 600–650 mm to cupboards or an extractor above and adequate ventilation space below, in line with standard installation guidelines. Thanks!
Question from James: Asked on 03/10/2025 Do you know the maximum pan width this will heat. My current induction hob only seems to heat the middle of larger pans.
Hi James,The electriQ hob allows you to "bridge the two zones together" for larger cookware; although the exact maximum is unlisted, the overall 520 mm width suggests it can fully heat pan diameters in the 25 cm to 32 cm range, with larger pans potentially experiencing heat discrepancies. Thanks!

Hello, the biggest burner is 160mm in total. So that woud be the maximum size for the bottom of the pan. Thanks
