Question from Vin: Asked on 30/01/2026 Which carbon filter is compatible with this cooker hood?
Hi Vin,The ElectriQ 90?cm Slimline Touch Cooker Hood (model EIQSLIM90LEDMAX) is compatible with ElectriQ carbon filters designed for the EIQSLIM90 series. These filters are required only if you use the hood in recirculating mode to remove cooking odors and should typically be replaced every 3–6 months. Popular compatible options include the ElectriQ Carbon Filter for EIQSLIM90BSS/EIQSLIM90LED and the ElectriQ Carbon Filter Pack for Selected Chimney Hoods, both of which fit this model perfectly. Thanks!
Question from Lisa: Asked on 13/01/2026 your answer above about the glass panel is not 100% clear. Does the glass panel stay up during normal cooking?
Hi, The glass panel on the ElectriQ 90cm Slimline Touch Cooker Hood (EIQSLIM90LEDMAX) is purely decorative and stays in place during normal cooking. It does not lift or open automatically. The panel only needs to be moved manually if you want to access the filters for cleaning or replacement.
Thank you.
Question from Alexa: Asked on 11/01/2026 when cooking, do i take the panel down which hides the grease filters? or does it not make a difference
Hi, The glass panel that hides the grease filters stays in place during normal cooking. The hood is designed to pull air through the filters with the panel down, so you should only open the panel when you need to access and clean or replace the grease filters.
Thank you.
Question from Sarah Gunnell: Asked on 07/01/2026 Does this appliance still need charcoal filters if i don’t want to recirculate the air?
Hi, For the electriQ 90?cm Slimline Touch Cooker Hood, if you are venting the air outside via ducting, you do not need charcoal filters — only the standard aluminium grease filter is required. Charcoal/carbon filters are only necessary if the hood is installed in recirculation mode with no external vent.
Thank you.
