Question from Sylvia: Asked on 23/03/2026 If there's an electricity failure, can the gas hob still be ignited ?
Hi Sylvia,During a power cut, the gas hob on the electriQ 60cm Double Oven Dual Fuel Cooker (EQRANGE60DFDC) can still be used, but since the ignition is electric, you’ll need to light it manually with a match or lighter. Thanks!
Question from L M: Asked on 02/03/2026 Is the oven a fan oven or fan assisted? Is this the same thing ?
Hi, The electriQ 60cm Double Oven Dual Fuel Cooker (EQRANGE60DFDC) features two ovens: the main lower oven is fan-assisted, meaning it has a fan that circulates heat for more even cooking—this is the same as a fan oven—while the top upper oven is a conventional oven with grill, which heats naturally from the top and bottom elements without a fan.
Thank you.
Question from Robyn: Asked on 31/12/2025 Can this be plugged into standard socket?
Hi,The electriQ 60cm Double Oven Dual Fuel Cooker (EQRANGE60DFDC) cannot be plugged into a standard UK socket. Its electric oven and grill draw too much power for a normal 13?A outlet, so it must be hard-wired to a dedicated cooker circuit by a qualified electrician, and the gas hob must be connected by a Gas Safe engineer. Thanks!
