Hi, The manufacturer’s official guidance for the Be Modern Flare Ember (FOL102303) confirms that the fan heater is not a user-serviceable component. The unit is a sealed inset electric fire, and access to the fan can only be gained by removing the fire from the surround and dismantling the rear casing, which is classed as service-level work for a qualified engineer. There is no external access panel, so any issues such as a noisy fan would normally require professional inspection rather than user repair.

Hi, On flame-only mode, the LEDs are silent. You might hear a very quiet hum from the flame effect mechanism, but there’s no fan or heater noise.

Hi, The Flare by Be Modern Ember Black Nickel Inset Electric Fireplace (model FOL102303) is supplied with a standard UK mains lead that is approximately 1.5?metres long from the rear of the unit to the plug.
