Question from Hutch: Asked on 24/03/2026 Can you add artificial logs or coals to this nurner
Hi, The OKO S1 Bioethanol Stove is designed to burn bioethanol fuel only and must not be used with wood, coal, or any other solid fuels, as this is unsafe and not supported by the stove’s design. The stove can accommodate decorative ceramic or resin logs or coals, but these are for visual effect only and must not obstruct the burner or come into contact with fuel. Always follow the instructions in the official manual regarding fuel use, lighting, and placement of decorative items to ensure safe operation.
Thank you.
Question from EJ: Asked on 19/03/2026 If it sits on the floor must it sit on tile/stone? Can it also be position hire up on stone that is around 100mm thick that has cabinets underneath.
Hi,The OKO S1 bioethanol stove must sit on a stable, level, non-combustible surface such as tile, stone, slate, or concrete. It can be positioned on a raised stone slab around 100?mm thick above cabinets, provided the slab is solid, securely fixed, and heat-resistant, and there is no combustible material directly beneath the stove that could be affected by heat. Thanks!
Question from Mark: Asked on 15/01/2026 Is the flue purely for decoration? Can the stove be positioned and used without the flue?
Hi, The OKO S1 is a flueless bioethanol stove, so it doesn’t need a flue or chimney. The pipe you see in pictures is purely decorative. You can safely use the stove freestanding without it, as long as the room is ventilated.
Thank you.
Question from Viv: Asked on 02/12/2025 Can this flue be removed if for decorative purposes?
Hi, The OKO S1 is a flueless bioethanol stove, so the flue is purely decorative and can be removed safely. Just ensure the room has some ventilation when in use.
Thank you.
Question from Carron: Asked on 15/10/2025 Can you use the flue in a straight up position without the curve on it?
Hi Carron,You can install the flue of the Adam FOL105653 stove in a straight, vertical position without the curve if you are using it as an electric stove, as the flue in this case is purely decorative. However, if the stove is being used with bioethanol, the flue should be angled to ensure proper venting and safety, so a straight vertical installation is not recommended. Thanks!
