Question from Sharon: Asked on 17/12/2025 Does the hob require a minimum depth for the worktop?
Hi, The Hisense HI6421BSC induction hob requires a worktop cut-out depth of at least 490?mm to fit correctly, and the worktop should be thick and sturdy enough to securely support the hob.
Thank you.
Question from Sharon: Asked on 17/12/2025 Does this hob require an extractor underneath as well as on top?
Hi, The Hisense HI6421BSC 60?cm induction hob does not have a built-in extractor, so it requires a separate cooker hood or extractor above it for proper ventilation. There is no extractor underneath, though the unit does need ventilation space below in the cabinet.
Thank you.
Question from Sharon: Asked on 12/12/2025 Can this hob be sat over the cutlery drawer? Does it get hot underneath? Thanks
Hi, For safety, this hob can’t be installed directly above a standard cutlery drawer. It needs proper ventilation underneath, so the space below must be either a ventilated cupboard or a modified drawer.
Thank you.
Question from Jacky Martin: Asked on 30/07/2025 Can this be run on a ring main?
Hi, No, the Hisense HI6421BSC induction hob cannot be run on a standard ring main. It requires its own dedicated 32A electrical circuit with appropriate wiring to handle its high power demand safely and comply with electrical regulations. Thanks!
