Stand out features
Sensor dry technology
Take the guesswork out of laundry with four levels of dryness to choose from. The clever sensor technology automatically stops the machine as soon as your clothes are perfectly dry, protecting your laundry and saving energy.
Anti-allergy
Keep your family safe with a special system that neutralises common allergens like dust mites, pet hair, and pollen. It uses controlled heat and movement to deep clean your garments without damaging the fibres.
Apparel care
Keep your delicate fabrics looking and feeling excellent. This cycle uses a precise temperature management system and a gentle drum motion to look after wool and cashmere, fully approved by Woolmark.
Anti-crease
Reduce your time spent ironing with this handy function. The drum automatically rotates every 10 minutes for up to 6 hours after a cycle ends, keeping your clothes moving so deep creases cannot form.

Question from Les.: Asked on 02/05/2026 Hi. When the drying cycle starts does it have a reverse action i.e. forwards for a while then reverse so it does not tangle clothes inside also where does the hot air vent from i.e. front or rear
Hi Les,The Hoover H-Dry 300 Lite does not reverse the drum during drying; it rotates in a single direction with pauses but no forward-and-back motion, and the hot, moist air is expelled from a vent at the rear of the machine through a hose that must be directed outside. Thanks!
Question from John: Asked on 02/05/2026 Can it be used without a smartphone
Hi John,Yes, the Hoover H-Dry 300 Lite 10kg Vented Tumble Dryer HLEV10DG-80 works fully without a smartphone, as all drying programmes and controls can be used directly on the machine, with the app features being entirely optional. Thanks!
Question from Ruth: Asked on 01/05/2026 Does it have reverse action
Hi, The Hoover H-Dry 300 Lite 10kg vented tumble dryer (HLEV10DG-80) operates with a straightforward, reliable drum rotation system and does not include a reverse tumble action, meaning the drum runs in a single consistent direction throughout each cycle; this simple design helps keep operation efficient and easy to maintain while still delivering effective drying performance for everyday laundry loads, making it a solid, no-fuss option for households looking for a large-capacity 10kg vented dryer.
Thank you.
Question from Will: Asked on 29/07/2025 Is the door reversible?
Hi, For the Hoover HLEV10DG-80 10?kg freestanding vented dryer:
The door hinge is fixed on the left and cannot be reversed to open from the other side
“Reverse Action” refers to the drum rotation reversing during the cycle (to reduce creasing and tangling), not the door swing.
So while the drum does reverse direction, the door itself does not support hinge reversal. Thanks!
Question from Mal Dunn: Asked on 06/07/2025 Whereabouts is the vent situated on the rear of the machine, is it left or right, looking from the rear?
For the Hoover HLEV10DG-80 vented tumble dryer, the vent outlet on the rear panel is positioned on the right-hand side when you're standing behind the machine (looking from the rear)
