Question from Nichola Glover: Asked on 28/10/2025 I have received my dishwasher. Does the grey felt material at the back of the appliance and the polystyrene down the sides at the back need to be removed before use?
HI Nichola,Before using your Hotpoint HP2FE10CS90WUK dishwasher, you should remove any obvious polystyrene or foam packaging at the back, as these are transport protection and not part of the appliance. The grey felt material, however, is likely a factory-installed sound insulation blanket and should remain in place.Thanks!

Hi, The Hotpoint HP2FE10CS90WUK Freestanding Slimline Dishwasher includes both the water supply hose and the drainage pipe as part of the package. These are provided to ensure a complete installation.
