Heat Output Calculator

Our calculator helps you easily determine the heating capacity you need for your space. For larger rooms, consider using multiple radiators, opting for larger sizes, or choosing models with more panels to meet your BTU requirement.

Select your desired room

Select the correct measurement type, and input the height, width and length.

Are there any of the following in the room:

Total: 0 BTUs
Total: 0 kW

What's a BTU?

BTU (British Thermal Unit) measures how much heat a radiator can output. The higher the BTU, the more warmth it provides. To choose the right radiator, calculate the BTU needed for your room size, insulation, and window type. Too low, and your space stays chilly; too high, and you waste energy.

which valves do I need?

Which valves do I need?

Angled Radiator Valves

Angled radiator valves are typically used when the pipework comes from the floor, or from the wall directly behind the radiator. The angled design allows for a neat connection.

Corner Radiator Valves

Corner valves are often used when the pipework comes from the wall, or runs along the wall and needs to turn a corner to connect to the side of the radiator.

Straight Radiator Valves

Straight radiator valves are used when the pipework comes up from the floor directly beneath the radiator and are perfect for towel radiators where the inlets are at the bottom. They're not suitable for side-entry radiators unless the pipework runs along the wall horizontally.

H-Block Radiator Valves

H-Block radiator valves are a more compact solution, often used with modern radiators that have connections at the bottom, rather than the sides.

Pipe route/Inlet type Pipe up from floor Pipe out of wall Pipe runs along wall
Side Angled Corner (neatest) or Angled* Straight
Bottom Straight Corner —
Middle twin ports Straight Angled H-block (Rare) Corner

* While you can often rotate an angled valve, corner valves can offer a cleaner look and prevent accidental bumps.

All About Me

Striking two-tone design: Combines a sleek gunmetal grey panel with warm brushed brass towel bars, creating a bold visual contrast that elevates the style of smaller bathrooms.

Multiple heated bars: Seven bars provide ample space to hang multiple towels at once, ensuring quick drying and easy access while keeping your bathroom organised.

Durable mild steel construction: High-quality material ensures excellent heat retention, long-term reliability, and resistance to daily wear and tear in humid bathroom conditions.

Corrosion and rust resistant: Engineered for wet environments, the finish protects the radiator from moisture, keeping it looking pristine and maintaining performance over time.

Vertical wall-mounted design: Optimises floor space in compact areas, allowing installation in smaller bathrooms without compromising on heat output or towel capacity.

Upgrade smaller bathrooms with this premium towel radiator. This gunmetal towel radiator with two brushed brass additional towel bars create a modern, high-end look that instantly elevates the space. The additional two brushed brass bars extend 58mm from the radiator, providing extra hanging space for towels. This thoughtful depth allows larger bath sheets or multiple towels to hang freely without overlapping, ensuring they dry efficiently. The  mild steel construction ensures efficient heat retention, keeping your bathroom comfortably warm. The vertical design maximises wall space while providing easy-to-reach towel storage. Perfect for everyday convenience, this radiator combines functional warmth with a refined, contemporary aesthetic. Its sleek profile adds a luxury touch without overwhelming the room. Ideal for creating a spa-like, boutique feel, it also enhances the overall ambiance of your bathroom, making it both practical and visually striking. The Iraya towel rail is designed for central heating systems, providing reliable warmth throughout your bathroom without the need for an additional electric element.
