As a water cooled split the MCSe7.3 is the most efficient and effective form of portable air conditioning available, as it removes the de-rating effect of the condenser by using a plate heat exchanger instead. This also helps keep the sound down too as it moves one of the fans outside the area needing cooling.
This low GWP version of Broughton’s standard MCWS250 sees it upgraded to meet modern environmental standards while still promising up to 7.4kW of cooling without the need for ducting. This makes the MCSe7.3 ideal for use in data centres, especially as the main unit and outdoor section can be up to 35m apart.
With digital thermostatic control, twin louvre directional and variable speed control the MCSe7.3 can have its air delivery tailored to suit a range of needs, while a status panel lets you know what the units is doing at a glance and low temperature operation is also included as standard.

Please Note:
This is a class 1 appliance and must be Earthed. The appliance must be serviced by qualified engineers in compliance with local regulations. The appliance must be switched off and disconnected from the power supply before any work is carried out. An air gap of at least 300mm should be allowed at the front of the unit to ensure a clear airflow. Extension cables should be correctly rated for the load, fully unwound and never run through water or over sharp edges. The fan motor on the external heat exchanger is electronically controlled and is liable to start and stop without notice.
The system is supplied with a 'water only' test charge. To protect the system from corrosion and frost damage Propylene Glycol must be added prior to use. Damage due to the failure to add Propylene Glycol will invalidate the warranty.
The air-conditioning process produces condensate (water) during operation. This condensate is pumped away from the main unit along a flexible clear line within the connecting hose assembly and is deposited to the outside from the bottom of the exterior heat exchanger. Care should be taken when positioning the exterior heat exchanger with regard to this. Do not support the exterior heat exchanger by means of the flexible lines.
This appliance contains an A2L refrigerant classified as mildly flammable. Always read the user and service manual before operation. The minimal charge within the appliance does not require a minimum room size for safe operation.
