Hi, Yes, the Indesit MyTime 9kg 1400rpm washing machine (model MTWC91495WUKN) does have a filter that needs regular cleaning to ensure the machine works efficiently. The filter is located behind a small access panel at the bottom front of the machine, typically on the right-hand side when facing it. You may need a screwdriver to remove this panel.
To clean the filter, place a shallow container or towels underneath to catch any water, then carefully unscrew the filter cap to drain any remaining water. After draining, fully remove the filter and clean it under running water to remove debris or lint. Check the filter housing for any leftover dirt and wipe it clean. Once done, securely reattach the filter and replace the access panel.
It’s recommended to clean the filter every 3 to 6 months, or more often if you regularly wash heavily soiled items, to maintain optimal performance and prevent drainage problems.
