Question from Robert: Asked on 09/03/2026 My current hob needs a cut-out of 550x470. The Bosch hob has 560x480 will your installer be able to cut to size? (Have had problems in the past with John Lewis)
Hi, Our installers are only able to carry out the connection of the gas and electrical supply. They are not able to modify or cut worktops. Since your current cut-out (550?x?470?mm) is smaller than the Bosch hob’s required 560?x?480?mm, we recommend arranging for a qualified engineer or kitchen fitter to adjust the worktop before delivery and installation.
Once the worktop is correctly prepared, our team will be able to safely fit and connect your new hob.
