Question from JONATHAN: Asked on 11/05/2026 The specification for extraction says max 650 m3/h - can you please confirm if this extraction value is only when using button 4 - boost option for 8 minutes. OR is this the max extraction on button 3 - if the 650 m3/h is only when using boost, please confirm what the extraction value is when running on button 3 - ie high speed - Thank you
Hi Jonathan,The 650 m³/h figure refers to the cooker hood’s maximum extraction performance and is achieved when using the boost (button 4) function, which runs for a short period of around 8 minutes. The normal “high” setting (button 3) operates at a lower continuous airflow and does not reach 650 m³/h, as that level is reserved for the temporary boost mode. Thanks!
Question from Kerron: Asked on 14/03/2026 Does this require one or two carbon filters in recirculation mode - and what model of filter?
Hi Kerron,For the Russell Hobbs 60cm T-Shaped Cooker Hood (RHGCH603SS), if you’re using it in recirculation mode, you need two carbon (charcoal) filters to remove odours before the air is recirculated, as these filters are not included with the hood and should be replaced every 3–6 months. Thanks!
Question from Kerron: Asked on 14/03/2026 Can the LED lights be replaced if they fail?
Hi Kerron,The LED lights in the Russell Hobbs 60cm T-Shaped Cooker Hood (RHGCH603SS) can be replaced if they fail, but they are part of a fixed module rather than individual bulbs. This means the entire LED unit must be replaced, and it’s recommended that a qualified engineer carries out the replacement due to the electrical connections involved. Thanks!
