The Smeg SPG405UK is a compact, commercial-grade undercounter glasswasher designed for bars, cafes, and hospitality venues where high-speed glassware turnaround is essential. Utilising a 400mm basket, the unit manages a maximum throughput of 40 baskets per hour, accommodating up to 16 pint glasses per load. A usable loading height of 309mm allows for the efficient cleaning of tall pint glasses and wine stems, while the moulded tank design with radius corners eliminates sharp edges to ensure hygiene and ease of end-of-service cleaning.
This Italian-manufactured unit is powered by a 2.9kW heating element and is supplied with a fitted 13A plug for standard electrical connectivity. Performance consistency is maintained via the HTR (High Temperature Rinse) system, which uses an atmospheric boiler and Thermostop technology to ensure a constant 85°C rinse temperature for superior sanitisation and rapid drying. The unit is fully WRAS compliant, featuring an internal KIWA-certified break tank and an integrated rinse booster pump to guarantee effective rinsing even in sites with low water pressure (minimum 1 bar).
Equipped with an intuitive electronic control panel, the SPG405UK offers three wash programmes (90, 150, and 240 seconds) and a self-diagnosis system for rapid fault warning. To extend the lifespan of the internal components, it features a patented four-stage filtration system that protects the wash and drain pumps from debris, alongside removable stainless steel wash arms.
