Ultra-rapid burners
The central powerful ultra-rapid burner offers up to 3.9kW power. The dual flame burner is composed of an auxiliary and a rapid burner which work together to deliver rapid heat.
Safety valves
All Smeg gas hobs include safety valves as standard, the valves on the burner cut off the gas flow if the flame is accidentally extinguished. In this event, the gas feeder valve shuts off immediately, regardless of the position of the control.

Hi Nadia,The Smeg SR275XGH2 hob, at approximately 27 inches wide, is significantly narrower than your current 34½-inch KitchenAid hob, so it will not fit neatly into your existing worktop cut-out without leaving a large gap or requiring modifications.Thanks!
