Question from John: Asked on 21/03/2026 Can you to plumb the dryer directly into your drainage system?
Hi John,You cannot connect your Bosch Series 4 8kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer directly to your main household drainage system. Instead, the dryer’s condensed water can either be collected in its built-in tank or drained via a hose into a sink, floor drain, or washing machine standpipe—but it must flow by gravity or through the dryer’s pump; direct plumbing into the waste pipes could cause backflow or flooding. Thanks!
Question from Keith: Asked on 19/03/2026 Using the delay feature would it be ok to dry after midnight taking advantage of cheaper electriity
Hi, The Bosch Series 4 tumble dryer is designed to operate safely unattended and includes a delay start function, as outlined in the manufacturer’s user manual, allowing the cycle to be scheduled in advance. This means it is suitable to set the dryer to begin after midnight, enabling use during off-peak electricity periods. The appliance will run the selected programme and automatically switch off once the cycle is complete.
Thank you.
