Hi Valerie,The Zana Gunmetal Grey Thermostatic Mixer Shower Set (model ZGMEXPSH) is not a gas shower. It is a thermostatic mixer shower, which mixes pre-heated hot water from your boiler or cylinder with cold water to maintain a stable temperature. It does not heat water itself, so it relies on your existing hot water system rather than running on gas or electricity like a gas or electric shower would.Thanks!
