The Hamoki HC-1 is a single door commercial hot cupboard and plate warmer for restaurants, hotels and event caterers that need up to 60 plates, or plated meals, held at serving temperature. It takes plates up to 320mm in diameter in a 450mm wide footprint.
Installation and Connection
The unit is fitted with a 13A UK plug and runs on a 240V 50Hz supply, so it needs no specialist hardwiring and can be positioned wherever there is a socket. It measures H85 x W45 x D45cm and weighs 33kg, so it works in kitchens with limited floor space or as a point-of-service warmer.
Day-to-Day Use and Cleaning
An on/off switch with an illuminator and an adjustable thermostat set the temperature between 30°C and 80°C. A specially shaped heating element spreads heat evenly to avoid cold spots, and an insulated, cool-to-touch Bakelite handle protects staff. The interior shelving adjusts for different plates or food containers, and the commercial-grade stainless steel body is easy to clean.
