Question from Patrick: Asked on 18/04/2026 It states that the tv supports optical audio out but after buying the TV I cannot find any port on the TV supping this function.Does it actually have this function?
Hi Patrick,The Toshiba 55UV1563DB does support digital audio output, but it does not include an optical (TOSLINK) port; instead, it provides a digital coaxial audio output and HDMI ARC for connecting to external audio systems.Thanks!

Hi Jordan,The Toshiba 55UV1563DB 55″ LED TV runs VIDAA Smart OS and supports popular streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, All 4, My5, and YouTube. However, it does not natively support the NOW (formerly NOW TV) app, so to use NOW, you would need an external streaming device such as an Amazon Fire TV Stick, Roku, Apple TV, or Chromecast with Google TV.Thanks!
