Hi,The TCL 55V6C-UK TV has a built-in tuner, so you only need to connect an aerial if you want to watch live broadcast TV (like Freeview channels). If you don’t connect an aerial, the TV will still work perfectly for streaming apps such as Netflix, BBC iPlayer, YouTube, or Disney+ over Wi-Fi or Ethernet. So, the aerial is optional unless you want traditional TV channels.Thanks!

Hi Colin, this TV does take a standard UK aerial connection. It includes a coaxial aerial input compatible with Freeview, so you can plug in a normal aerial and start watching straight away. Thank you.
