Hi, For fastest and safest drying, place the DeLonghi DEX212SF about 30–60?cm from the clothes with vents unobstructed, keep the bathroom door closed, use the laundry/dry clothes mode, and ensure the unit has space around it and the water tank is emptied or continuously drained.

Hi David,The De’Longhi DEX212F can work in a garage during winter, but its effectiveness depends on temperature: in an unheated, cold garage (around 0–10?°C), compressor-based dehumidifiers like this lose efficiency and won’t remove as much moisture, making a desiccant unit a better choice. In a slightly warmer or insulated garage (10?°C or above), it should perform reasonably well, especially with the continuous drain option, though it may struggle in persistently damp conditions.Thanks!
