Question from David: Asked on 04/10/2025 Can I use this safely over winter in a greenhouse. There would be no irrigation.

Answer from JoseBacud: Answered on 07/10/2025

Hi David,Yes, in principle, the electriQ 2,000 W glass-panel heater (IP24-rated) can be used in a greenhouse over winter for frost protection due to its anti-frost mode and splash-proof design, but for both safety and effectiveness, you must install it carefully in a location protected from direct dripping, ensure all electrical connections are RCD-protected and IP-rated, and confirm the 2 kW power is sufficient for the heat loss of your specific greenhouse. Thanks!

Question from Yadra: Asked on 24/09/2025 Hi, which mount wall bracelt is recommended for Electriq 2000W glass panel please? Thank you

Answer from JoseBacud: Answered on 01/10/2025

Hi,The ElectriQ 2000W Smart Designer Glass Panel Heater (EGH20AW) comes with pre-attached mounting brackets for wall installation, meaning you do not need to purchase separate wall brackets. The installation process involves removing these brackets from the heater, securing them to the wall, and then fitting the heater onto the secured brackets. Thanks!

Question from Niall O Leary: Asked on 21/09/2025 Hi,

Is there a certain distance they need to be away from a wash basin or shower?

Thanks

Answer from JoseBacud: Answered on 29/09/2025

Hi,Yes, the placement of the ElectriQ 2000W designer glass heater in a bathroom is subject to UK electrical safety regulations. With its IP24 splash-proof rating, it must not be installed in Zone 0 (inside the bath or shower) or Zone 1 (directly above the bath or shower up to 2.25?m). It is suitable for Zone 2 or areas beyond, provided it is installed at least 0.6?m horizontally from the edge of the bath or shower and out of reach of anyone using them. Thanks!
