Hi, The electriQ 60cm Angled Cooker Hood (model eIQAN60BLTOUCHHE) can be installed either as a ducted hood, which vents air outside your home, or as a recirculating (ductless) hood, which filters and recirculates the air back into the kitchen. If you choose the recirculating option, carbon filters are required and sold separately.

Question from Paulina: Asked on 25/11/2025 Does the front glass panel need to be open (as shown in one of the photos) in order to vent? Or is this only for when you need to remove the filter for cleaning? Asking as we have one that opens out, which is the opposite of what we want (came with the house). Thank you!
Hi Paulina, the front glass panel on this chimney hood does not need to be open for normal venting. Air is drawn through the grease filters underneath and expelled through the top vent or duct. The panel only needs to be opened or removed when accessing the filters for cleaning or maintenance. Thank you.

Hi, this chimney hood includes grease filters and an adjustable chimney section, but it does not come with a full ducting kit for air extraction.
