Hi, After moving the electriQ 208 Litre 80/20 Retro Freestanding Fridge Freezer on its side, it is important to wait before plugging it in to avoid damaging the compressor. We recommend waiting at least 4 to 6 hours to allow the compressor oil to settle properly. For extra caution, waiting up to 24 hours is ideal, especially if it was on its side for an extended period. This ensures the fridge operates safely and efficiently when turned on.

Hi Gordon,After moving your electriQ EQRETROTMBLUEVE fridge freezer on its side, you must allow it to settle to ensure the compressor oil returns to its proper place, preventing damage. Wait a minimum of 24 hours before plugging it in. If the unit was moved upright, a 4-hour wait is sufficient. After plugging it in, allow up to 24 hours for the fridge to cool fully before storing any food.Thanks!
