The details
This premium stainless steel charcoal BBQ is designed for outdoor cooks who value flavour, control, and build quality. Featuring a double-walled stainless steel hood, it locks in heat for consistent cooking results while protecting the BBQ from the elements.
The integrated lid thermometer allows you to monitor cooking temperatures accurately, making it easy to switch between high-heat grilling and slower, indirect charcoal cooking. An adjustable charcoal tray gives you full control over heat intensity—ideal for searing steaks, cooking burgers, or low-and-slow barbecue dishes.
Two heavy-duty cast iron grill grates with a matte enamel finish provide excellent heat retention and authentic BBQ grill marks, while the chrome warming rack keeps food hot and ready to serve. The front charcoal door lets you top up fuel safely without lifting the lid and losing heat.

Question from Luke: Asked on 21/04/2026 Hi can you tell me what hight the cooking area is please
Hi, The Boss Grill Built-In Charcoal BBQ (IQBBQCINT) has an overall height of 475 mm, and once installed, the cooking grate sits approximately 27–29 cm above the base of the unit. Designed as a built-in BBQ, the cooking height is intended to align with standard kitchen countertops rather than function as a standalone grill. The cooking area measures 640 mm by 390 mm, providing ample space for grilling.
Thank you.
Question from Mike: Asked on 16/04/2026 Hi, so you do not require access to the back of the unit for any reason unlike your gas type?
Hi, The Boss Grill IQBBQCINT is a self-contained charcoal BBQ, so unlike gas units, it does not require access to the back for operation or maintenance. All functions—charcoal loading, ash removal, cooking, and cleaning—are done from the front. For safety, the BBQ should have at least 1 metre of clearance on the sides and rear, and no overhead obstructions, to ensure proper ventilation and prevent heat or smoke hazards.
Thank you.
Question from Chris: Asked on 16/04/2026 Please provide the dimension from front of the unit to back of the lid when in open position (I see this is 580mm on gas version, but doesn't show same diagrame on this charcoal version)
Hi Chris,The front-to-back depth of the Boss Grill Built-In Charcoal BBQ (IQBBQCINT) remains approximately 590 mm, and opening the lid does not increase this depth — it only adds height clearance. Thanks!
Question from Al: Asked on 12/04/2026 Hi what's the base material made of? The description says the hood is stainless steel but doesn't specifically mention the base thanks
Hi,The base and main body of the BBQ are also made from stainless steel, not just the hood, so the whole unit has a stainless steel construction rather than only specific parts being metal. Thanks!
Question from Sam W: Asked on 09/04/2026 How do you control the temperature, I can’t see any vents.
Hi, This BBQ doesn’t have adjustable vents for controlling airflow like some traditional charcoal grills. Instead, the temperature is managed by the amount and placement of charcoal, along with using the lid to retain heat, and monitoring the temperature with the built-in thermometer.
Thank you.
Question from Rick: Asked on 21/03/2026 How do you clean out the charcoal, is there a tray or do you have to remove the grills and awkwardly remove the ash
Hi Rick,The Boss Built-In Charcoal BBQ has a front access door and a removable charcoal tray, so you don’t have to awkwardly reach through the top grates to clean out ash. You still remove the cooking grates to access the tray, but once the grates are out, the tray lifts out easily for emptying, making cleanup much simpler and less messy. Thanks!
Question from Jemma: Asked on 17/03/2026 What surface am I able to mount this on safely?
Hi, The Boss Grill IQBBQCINT Built-In Charcoal BBQ must be installed on a level, stable, and non-combustible surface such as brick, concrete, stone, or other masonry materials. It must not be mounted on wood, timber framing, composite decking, or any other combustible surface. The installation must also comply with the manufacturer’s instructions and maintain the required ventilation and safety clearances.
Thank you.
