Question from Rob M: Asked on 03/05/2026 What space do I need to leave at the back to enable the door to open fully?
Hi, The manufacturer requires a minimum 1 metre (1000 mm) clearance at the rear of the Boss Grill IQBBQINT6 for safe ventilation, gas safety compliance, and maintenance access. Although the lid may open with less space, installation with reduced rear clearance is not recommended or compliant with the official guidance.
Thank you.
Question from Stephen: Asked on 29/04/2026 Hi ya.
Is this bbq suitable for natural gas ?
Hi, The Boss Grill 6 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ (IQBBQINT6) is configured for use with LPG (propane or butane) only. It is not suitable for connection to natural gas in its current setup. Natural gas requires different burner orifices and a lower-pressure regulator. Using this BBQ with natural gas without proper conversion could be unsafe and may damage the appliance.
Thank you.
Question from Phil: Asked on 28/04/2026 Hi can this bbq be plumbed in to mains gas
Hi Phil,No, this BBQ is designed for bottled LPG gas and is not intended to be connected directly to mains natural gas. It would require a proper conversion kit and a Gas Safe engineer, and in most cases this model is not supported for conversion, so it should be used with a gas bottle instead. Thanks!
Question from Mike: Asked on 27/04/2026 Hello, the all the bbq made from 304 grade stainless steel?
Or is some lower grade?
Thank you
Mike
Hi, The Boss Grill IQBBQINT6 uses 304 stainless steel for the burners and cooking grates. The BBQ body is stainless steel construction, as per the manufacturer specification.
Thank you.
Question from Rach: Asked on 22/04/2026 Where does the rotisserie connect? Does this effect how low the bbq can be built in when adjacent worktops sit higher? Ie, bbq will be on a 700mm high unit but worktops either side will be 900mm high
Hi, The rotisserie on the Boss Grill 6 Burner Built-In BBQ mounts internally within the unit, with the motor attaching to one side and the spit rod supported across the cooking chamber, so it does not require any additional height above the BBQ. Because of this, the difference between a 700 mm BBQ installation height and 900 mm adjacent worktops does not affect the rotisserie function or installation. The only requirement is that there must be no overhead obstruction and sufficient clearance for the lid to fully open safely.
Thank you.
Question from Rach: Asked on 22/04/2026 The product photo shows this on a low cabinet, with higher worktops each side. What is the "depth" the bbq should be placed at to ensure the cooking surface sits level with the adjacent worktops once the lid is open
Hi, The Boss Grill IQBBQINT6 requires a 610 mm cut-out depth for the unit itself, however it must be installed with at least 1 metre of clear, unobstructed space to the rear and sides in accordance with the manufacturer’s safety instructions. The final installation design must therefore allow sufficient rear clearance for safe lid operation and ventilation, and the cooking surface height alignment is controlled by installation height, not depth.
Thank you.
Question from Mike: Asked on 16/04/2026 I see that the drip tray pulls out of the back, but how much space do i require at the back to remove it fully? I wanted to built it against a wall, so this could be a massive stumbling block for me?
Hi, For safe use and maintenance of your Boss IQBBQINT6 6-Burner Built-In Gas BBQ, you must allow at least 8–10 inches (20–25 cm) of space at the back so the drip tray can be fully removed for cleaning. Additionally, the manufacturer recommends a minimum of 1 metre clearance at the rear for safety. Installing the BBQ directly against a wall would prevent proper drip tray removal and could compromise safety.
Thank you.
Question from Jake: Asked on 06/04/2026 Do the LEDs require batteries or are they mains powered?
Thanks
Hi Jake,The LEDs on the Boss Grill 6 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ (model IQBBQINT6) are powered by batteries, not mains electricity, so no external power supply is needed for the lights. Thanks!
Question from Boss grii 6: Asked on 11/03/2026 Where does the gas enter the grill
Hi, The gas for the Boss Grill 6 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ (IQBBQINT6) connects at the rear of the unit, not the front knobs. The front controls only operate the burners. The gas line and regulator attach at the back before installation and are hidden once fitted. Always follow the installation instructions or use a qualified installer.
Thank you.
Question from Alan Jones: Asked on 01/03/2026 How do you drain the excess fat and oils
Hi Alan,To drain excess fat and oils from the Boss Grill 6 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ (IQBBQINT6), first allow the grill to cool and ensure the gas is off. Remove the built-in drip tray or grease cup located beneath the cooking area, pour out the collected fat safely, and wash the tray with hot, soapy water before replacing it. Regularly trimming excess fat from meat, monitoring flare-ups while cooking, and cleaning residual grease after each use will help prevent grease fires and keep the grill functioning efficiently. Thanks!
Question from Alan Jones: Asked on 01/03/2026 Does this have a front or rear pull out drip tray
Hi Alan,Yes — the Boss Grill 6 Burner Built-In Gas BBQ does have a drip tray, and it pulls out from the rear of the grill (i.e., it slides out the back for emptying and cleaning). Thanks!
