Hi, This appliance requires a hardwired connection to a dedicated 16A supply from the consumer unit. In typical UK installations, a 2.5mm² twin & earth cable is suitable, although a 4.0mm² cable may be used depending on the installation distance and site conditions. It must be installed on its own circuit and must not be connected to a plug or shared socket outlet. Installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with current wiring regulations.
