Question from Julian: Asked on 27/11/2025 Hi, what is this freezers power consumption in watts.?
Hi, The Fridgemaster 165L Upright Freezer (MTZ55153E) uses around 188?kWh per year, which averages to about 21–22 watts. The compressor cycles on and off, so actual power draw is higher when running, but this gives a good idea of its typical energy use.
Thank you.
Question from dave: Asked on 22/11/2025 Outbuilding Use has a x by it SO is it suitable for outbuildings or NOT
Hi Dave,The Fridgemaster 165 Litre Freestanding Upright Freezer (MTZ55153E) is not suitable for use in an outbuilding.Thank you
Question from dave: Asked on 22/11/2025 Is this freezer suitable for a conservatory Can be cold in winter but hot in summer
Hi Dave,The Fridgemaster MTZ55153E Plus freezer is not specifically designed for extreme temperature fluctuations, so while it may work in a conservatory, it could struggle in very cold winters or hot summers. In cold temperatures, it may not function properly, while in heat above 32°C, it could overheat or consume more energy. If your conservatory experiences significant temperature changes, a freezer designed for "low ambient" or "garage ready" use would be a better option. Thanks!
