Hi, To replace the carbon filter on your Hotpoint Slimline Chimney Hood, first switch off the power. Remove the metal grease filters underneath, then take out the carbon filter behind them. Fit a new carbon filter in its place — it cannot be washed — then put the grease filters back and turn the power on. The filter should be replaced every few months depending on use.
