Hi, The Hotpoint PPH75PDFIXUK 75?cm 5-Burner Gas Hob comes with a built-in automatic ignition system. This means each burner can be ignited directly using the control knobs, and you do not need a separate lighter. Please note that the hob must be connected to an electrical supply for the ignition to work, and the knob should be held for a few seconds after ignition to allow the flame safety device to operate correctly.
