Hi, Yes, this model is designed to fit very close to a wall. According to the Hisense installation manual, the required clearance when installed is more than 2.5mm on each side and more than 5mm above. A large side gap is therefore not required, but the appliance should not be fitted completely flush against the wall and the ventilation requirements should be followed.
